Movies Matter is an attempt to get more people to go to the theater because it is an important part of watching a movie. Movies aren’t always in theaters forever so it is good to see them when they are in theaters.

Talking About Movies
Another thing that people can do with movies is talk about them. Movies are an art form and good movies can make people think about things they haven’t thought about before or think about things in a new way. Talking about movies not only makes it easier to understand some movies but talking about things that people enjoy can help people find others with the same interests.
Help People Find Movies
There are a lot of movies that are being made every year and it is becoming more difficult to find good movies that are worth watching. Recommendations and reviews for less talked about movies will be posted to help people find good movies.

Movies are a very popular form of entertainment. There are a wide variety of genres from intense thrillers, to hilarious comedies, and even wacky sci fi movies. There is just about something for everyone.
The magic of seeing one of these on a massive screen with great sound is something that can only be done in a movie theater. If a movie is done well it can essentially transport the viewer to an entirely new world.
Although going to the theater is the best way to watch a movie, ticket sales for movies have been on a downward trend since the early 2000s. Ticket sales also haven’t recovered after the pandemic although they are moving upwards. Some of this can be attributed to the cost of going to the movies and that more people are relying on streaming services to watch movies.
Movies have been an important part of founder Deven Snyder’s life. He has been watching movies for pretty much his entire life and he views going to the theater as a great experience.
Movies can form a sense of community between people whether it be seeing a massive blockbuster with over a hundred other people at one time or just talking about small movies that other people like. Movies can bring people together like other things can’t and that’s why it is important to protect them.
